Skin Boosters are injected into the epidermis (top layer of the skin) to hydrate, renew and boost the quality of your skin.
Skin boosters promote collagen and enhance your skin’s healing capabilities making it more healthy and vital.
They can be used on the face and neck to improve skin laxity and reduce fine lines.
Skin boosters improve your skin quality and produce a subtle lifting and tightening effect, but unlike Filler Injections they aren’t used to contour or enhance and don’t change the appearance of your natural features.

WHAT TO EXPECT?
Once your goals have been determined a virtual consultation with a doctor will need to be conducted as these are prescription medications, our aesthetic nurse will guide you through this quick and easy process. This is included as part of our free consultation at no cost to you.
Please note: this treatment does require a cooling-off period and cannot be undertaken on the same day as the consultation.
- To begin, your skin will be prepped by being cleansed and purified with products matched to your skin profile
- The Skin Boosters are injected in a very particular pattern with 5 injections made on each side of the face (10 in total)
- If you are having your neck treated there will be 10 injection points
- As the product is injected superficially using a smaller needle than with filler injections most people find the treatment tolerable
- The product is easily absorbed by the skin and helps to hydrate from within
- The product does sit in small lumps under your skin and then slowly disperses. It can take up to 7 days for the lumps to resolve.
- Two treatments are required four weeks apart with final results being visible four weeks after your second treatment. It is highly recommended to undertake both treatments for best results
- A top-up treatment is required every 6 – 9 months to maintain results
The injections are not permanent, results last up to 6 months. A small amount of swelling, bleeding or bruising may occur at and around the injection point
